Shipping/Policies

 

Waitlists/Lead Time

 

There is always a wait list for custom orders. Please allow a minimum lead time of 4 weeks for your custom doll to be completed. This is an average - a more precise delivery date will be given upon purchase. If you are working under a strict deadline, please be sure to discuss delivery deadlines prior to purchasing.

 

 

Refunds/Exchanges

 

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact me within 5 working days of receiving your package. I will do my best to resolve the problem quickly and to mutual satisfaction.

 

  1. No refunds will be given for dolls damaged in any way by machine washing or drying. Your doll is a handwash item - sink baths only!

  2. Because of the nature of custom/personalized work, refunds will not be issued for these items unless there is a manufacturing defect.

  3. Because of the reproducible nature of electronic files, no refunds will be given on digital downloads. If a damaged file is received, please contact me within 24hours for replacement.

  4. Refunds/exchanges for "off-the-shelf" products will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Returned items must be in the original condition, shipping will be at the purchasers cost.

 

 

Shipping

 

  1. Dolls are carefully packaged in a cellophane bag within a large envelope.

  2. Prints are packaged with cardboard backing in a padded mailer or in a poster tube. 

  3. Norah's Knot is located in Canada and currently ships within Canada and the US.

  4. Shipping costs are a flat rate of $15 and Canadian orders are shipped expedited with tracking numbers.

  5. Tracking is available for US orders at buyers cost. Please contact me prior to purchasing if you require tracking numbers for your US shipment. 

 

 

Damaged/Defective Products

 

  1. In the event your purchase arrives defective or damage is incurred during shipping, I will be happy to work with you to resolve the situation with either replacement or a refund. 

  2. Please provide photos documenting the issue within 48 hours of receiving your item.

  3. If there is a manufacturing defect, a full refund or exchange will be issued upon my receipt and inspection of the returned item.

 

 

Custom Work

 

I love custom orders! Custom work varies in price, depending on the accessories and complexity of the design.

 

  1. The shop banner will list the month I am currently booking custom orders into as well as if my waitlist is full. 

  2. When you put a deposit on a custom doll listing, I will provide you with the link and password for the order form to start planning your order. 

  3. Once we finalize the details of your order, I will send you a final confirmation of the design and a finalized quote for your order. With your approval of the design, no further changes will be possible.

  4. Full payment is required before starting work on the order. 

  5. I do not send in-progress photos, simply because half finished dolls are VERY SCARY. I will take as long as you need in the planning stage to ensure that you are happy with your choices before beginning work on your doll.
